A WhatsApp connector links the number your organization already uses to other tools. SyncZap makes that link with AI assistants: once connected, ChatGPT, Claude or another MCP-compatible client can read, search and summarize the chats you chose to sync, and draft replies that are only sent after you confirm.
There is nothing to install, no new number and no app to migrate to: SyncZap joins as a linked device, like WhatsApp Web, and keeps only the text of the chats you turn on.

Connect WhatsApp with the QR code
On your phone, open WhatsApp → Linked devices → Link a device and scan the code in the panel.

Choose the chats
Turn on sync for the chats that may be read, or switch on Sync all conversations.

Connect your assistant
In ChatGPT, Claude or another MCP client, add a custom connector with the URL below and choose OAuth authentication. There is no key or secret to copy.

What the connector does
- Reads messages from synced chats, with pagination and context.
- Searches by keyword, period and direction across every chosen chat.
- Lists the chats still waiting for your reply.
- Transcribes voice notes and reads photos and documents when you ask, from the Pro plan up.
- Drafts replies with the exact recipient and text; sending requires your confirmation.
- For developers, offers API keys and signed webhooks from the Max plan up.

Small businesses, sales and support teams that receive orders, quotes and voice notes on WhatsApp and want AI to help them leave no one unanswered.
What SyncZap does not do
SyncZap is not a bulk messaging, campaign or chatbot tool. There are no automatic replies, with one optional exception that an owner or admin turns on: delivering the transcript of received voice notes.
Privacy and control
- Only chats with active sync are recorded, shown and read by assistants.
- Photos, voice notes, videos and documents stay on your phone. When you open an attachment or ask for an AI reading, SyncZap downloads a temporary copy, deleted from the server 24 hours after the download. Transcripts and readings are kept as text.
- Nothing is sent without your confirmation: the assistant shows the recipient and text first. Marking as read and reacting with an emoji are the only actions without confirmation.
- Each organization is isolated, and WhatsApp credentials never leave the sync server.

What is a WhatsApp connector?
It is a service that links your WhatsApp number to other systems. With SyncZap, that system is your AI assistant: ChatGPT, Claude or another MCP client reads the chats you sync and drafts replies.
Does the connector use the official WhatsApp Business API?
No. SyncZap connects the number you already use as a linked device, like WhatsApp Web. It is not Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform and does no campaigns or bulk messaging.
Do I need a new number?
No. You scan a QR code with your phone, and the number stays the same, in the same app.
Can the AI send a message without me seeing it?
No. Every send shows the recipient and text and only happens after you confirm. Marking as read and reacting with an emoji are the only actions without confirmation.
How much does it cost?

Can I disconnect whenever I want?
Yes. Disconnect SyncZap in the assistant to revoke access, or unlink the device on your phone. The Delete everything button removes saved messages without touching your WhatsApp.
