SyncZap connects an organization's WhatsApp to the AI assistants people already use, ChatGPT, Claude and other MCP clients, so they can find, summarize and answer conversations without copying and pasting, while a person stays in charge of every message sent.

The founder

SyncZap was founded and is led by Patrick Alex (Patrick Lima Alex), CEO, who is also the data protection officer named in the privacy policy. SyncZap came from a practical problem in Brazilian small and mid-sized businesses, where WhatsApp is where orders, quotes, voice notes and customer support actually happen: the answers a team needs are scattered across hundreds of WhatsApp chats, and AI assistants could not see them safely.

Patrick presents the product himself in the demo video and writes the guides on the SyncZap blog.

Mission

Give every small business the same advantage large companies get from AI on their customer conversations, without giving up control of who reads what and what is sent in their name.

Principles we build by

You choose what is saved. Only chats with sync turned on are recorded, shown or read by assistants.
A person confirms every message. The AI prepares; sending needs explicit confirmation of the exact recipient and text. Marking as read and reacting are the only exceptions.
Media stays on your phone. Temporary copies are deleted 24 hours after download.
Each organization is isolated, and WhatsApp credentials never leave the sync server.
We are honest about what SyncZap is: an independent service that connects your number as a linked device, not an official WhatsApp or Meta product, with the policy risk that implies. Details in Business API vs linked device.
No invented numbers. We do not publish fake testimonials, user counts or traffic figures.

How SyncZap works

SyncZap links your number as a device, like WhatsApp Web, records the text of the chats you choose and exposes them through a remote MCP server with OAuth 2.1. ChatGPT, Claude and other MCP clients connect by URL and can then read, search and summarize those chats and prepare replies.
