vCard generator (.vcf and QR code)
Fill in a name, company, phones, e-mail and website to create a vCard 3.0 contact file. Download the .vcf to send or attach, or a QR code that adds the contact when scanned with a phone camera.
Runs 100% in your browser: no account, no upload. Nothing you type or open in this tool is sent to any server.
Contact
Card and QR code
Fill in at least the name or the company.
How to use it
- 1Fill in the contact. Name or company is required; everything else is optional. You can add up to four phones.
- 2Mark the WhatsApp number. Ticking WhatsApp adds the waid parameter to that phone, the same one WhatsApp writes in the contacts it shares.
- 3Download the file or the QR. The .vcf can be attached to e-mails or sent in a chat. The QR code holds the whole card, so it works without internet.
- Commas, semicolons, backslashes and line breaks are escaped, and long lines are folded, as the vCard standard requires.
- The more fields you fill, the denser the QR code; keep the note short for printed cards.
Frequently asked questions
Which vCard version is generated?
vCard 3.0, the version iPhone, Android and most e-mail programs import most reliably.
How do I add the contact from the QR code?
Open the phone camera, point it at the code and tap the suggestion to add the contact.
Can I send the .vcf on WhatsApp?
Yes. Send it as a document; the person taps it to save the contact.
Is my contact data stored?
No. The card and the QR code are created in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
