WhatsApp QR code generator

Create a QR code that opens a WhatsApp chat with your number, with or without a ready message, or encode any other link. Adjust size, margin, error correction and colors, then download PNG or SVG.

Runs 100% in your browser: no account, no upload. Nothing you type or open in this tool is sent to any server.

QR code content

With area code. A +country code also works.

Appearance

The standard recommends 4 for reliable scanning.

More correction survives dirt and folds but makes the code denser.

Fill in the content to see the QR code.

How to use it

  1. 1Choose what the code opens. A WhatsApp chat (number and optional message, turned into a wa.me link) or any other link or text you paste.
  2. 2Adjust the look. Set the PNG size, the quiet-zone margin, the error correction level and the two colors. The preview updates as you change them.
  3. 3Download and test. Download a PNG for screens and quick prints or an SVG for print shops and large formats. Scan it with a phone before printing.
  • The QR encoder is built into this page: the code is computed in your browser, with no QR service involved.
  • SVG is vector and scales to any size; PNG is pixel-exact at whole pixels per module, so its size can be slightly below the slider value.

Frequently asked questions

Does the QR code expire?

No. It holds the link itself, not a redirect through our site, so it keeps working as long as the number has WhatsApp.

Which error correction level should I use?

M suits most uses. Use Q or H if the code will be printed small, on fabric, or may get scratched; it becomes denser.

Can I use brand colors?

Yes, as long as the code stays clearly darker than the background. The tool warns when contrast is low or the colors are inverted.

Is the content I type stored?

No. It is encoded in your browser and the files are generated in the page; nothing is uploaded.
