How to use it
- 1Choose the destination. A page of your website, or a wa.me chat with a ready message.
- 2Pick a preset or fill the fields. Presets fill source and medium for Instagram bio, Google Ads, e-mail, Facebook and printed QR codes. Add the campaign name.
- 3Copy the link. Existing parameters and the #anchor of your link are kept; earlier utm_ values are replaced.
- For WhatsApp, the reference is visible text in the message (for example [ref: instagram/bio]); it is not automatic tracking.

What are UTM parameters?
Tags added to a link (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign and optionally utm_term and utm_content) that analytics tools such as Google Analytics read to attribute visits to a campaign.
Why not add UTM to the wa.me link?
WhatsApp drops them: no analytics script runs between the click and the chat, so the data would never reach a report. A reference in the message is something you can actually see.
Which preset should I use for an Instagram bio?
The Instagram bio preset sets source instagram, medium social and campaign bio. Change the campaign if you rotate links.
Is anything tracked by this page?
No. The link is built in your browser; this tool does not shorten, store or count clicks.
